BORK APP
According to the American Humane Society 1 in 3 pets will go missing in their lifetime and only 14% of them on average are returned to their owners.
Microchipping technology has provided a new means to return pets to their owners. While this has contributed greatly to the homecoming of beloved family pets, it isn't the most convenient means of finding a pet owner. While a dog may be microchipped, the person who finds the poor lost pooch has to commit to finding the time to load a strange and possibly scared animal into their car then take it to a vet to have it scanned.
Although, now with the Bork App it takes a lot less effort on behalf of the person who finds a lost pet. The Bork App uses the NFC technology available in most smart phones to communicate with a new type of microchip implanted in the pup.
Simply open the app and hold it over the dog. If the dog is part of the Bork App database the dog's profile will appear. This will give you the option to contact the owner. You also have the option to share the lost dog to a variety of social media apps in case Fido isn't chipped with a Bork Chip.
Reuniting a family member has never been so easy!
